Who pays the shipping costs for returning assistive devices?

Within the capital area, shipping costs are not paid for smaller assistive devices that fit easily in a normal passenger car. Larger devices are picked up by a driver on behalf of Iceland Health. Nursing homes take care of returning assistive devices for residents.

Outside of the capital area, the user or contact person must contact Flytjandi and Iceland Health pays for those shipping costs.
