Where Do I Return assistive devices?
Reusable assistive devices owned by Iceland Health shall be returned after use. Reception is on both Vínlandsleið 16 and Vínlandsleið 6-8. Open Monday-Thursdays from 10:00-15:00 and Fridays from 08:00- 13:00.
Individuals living outside the capital area can get the devices to Flytjandi, who will get the devices to the Icelandic Health Insurances without cost. They also handles picking up larger assistive devices such as beds and assistive devices that are too large or heavy for the average car.
It is necessary to provide information on the personal identification number of the individual who carried the device so that it can be registered for the purpose.
