Various factors can affect whether you are eligible to donate blood, such as medications, illnesses, travel, and more. This information may change and is for reference only. A nurse at the Blood Bank assesses the eligibility of blood donors based on health information and an interview.

Can donate blood if continuous treatment, same dose and type of medication for at least 4 weeks and general wellbeing.

Example: Treatment for weight management, type II diabetes and polycystic ovary syndrome/PCOS.
