Notification of ownership of X-ray equipment

The ownership of X-ray equipment must be notified to the Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority.

A change of ownership of x-ray equipment must be notified to the Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority.

Notification

To complete a notification you need to have available information about:

• new owner

  • name

  • social security number

  • address (device location)

• previous owner

  • name

  • social security number

• equipment information

  • manufacturer

New owner

The new owner must apply for a license to use the equipment. An application for a license will be called after, if it has not already be sent in when the notification of the change of ownership comes to the Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority.
