Ships must be re-registered on the register of ships after modifications.
When a ship has passed the initial inspection and the tilt test, it is possible to permit re-registration by completing the application for re-registration.

Certificate of shipbuilding or authorisation (advertised if ship is 5 bt. in size or larger)
A declaration of the foreign share in a public limited company (if a public limited company is the owner of a vessel and foreign parties among shareholders must be accompanied by a declaration of the size of their shareholding)
