Payment participation system for medicines
Medication certificate
Iceland Health have the authority to issue medication certificate to provide payment participation in medicinal products which do not otherwise have a payment participation.
A doctor may apply for a medication certificate for an individual if the conditions of work rules are met.
The medication certificates are electronic and information on their dispensing can be viewed under Health on My pages.
