Loftbrú Code is Not Working/Displaying

When the code is not appearing for individuals, the problem is usually that the individual has not had a registered legal residence in Registers Iceland for 30 days. That is to say, 30 days have not passed since confirmation of the change of permanent residence was received from Registers Iceland.

  • In the event of a change of legal address, 30 days must pass before Loftbrú can be used.

If you have any problems using the code, it is best to contact Vegagerðin's information number 1777, or loftbru@vegagerdin.is.

However, if you have problems using the discount in airline booking systems, it is best to contact the relevant airline.
