Disability certificate
Disability cards are for those who have 75% disability rating and are under 67 years of age. Disability cards provide various discounts at numerous companies and institutions in Iceland.
3 ways to obtain a disability certificate

Print a PDF of the certificate from My Pages TR.
Order a plastic card.
The certificate does not include a photograph and is therefore not a personal identification document.
Duration
The certificate is valid for the same period as the disability assessment.
The digital disability certificate will be gray and the validity period will change:
Permit Expired or Expired in Android phone,
Inactive or Expired in iPhone.
When a new disability assessment takes effect, a new disability certificate must be applied for.
A disability certificate is never valid for more than one month after the 67th birthday.

ÖBÍ has compiled a list of companies and institutions that give discounts.
The Red Cross will offer a 50% discount on an ambulance service charge for sending a copy or photo of a valid disability certificate by e-mail to: afgreidsla@redcross.is
