Approval to issue structure and wheel alignment certificates

The Icelandic Transportation Authority maintains a list of parties it has approved for the purpose of issuing certificates in respect of the structure and wheel position of a vehicle.

In order to be approved by the Icelandic Transportation Authority to issue these certificates, that party must attend a course in the issue of structure certificates and wheel position certificates, as well as pass an on-site audit. Iðan fræðslusetur handles the supervision of courses and the evaluation.

The approval is valid for 5 years; in order to maintain approval, the assessor must attend continuing education every five years.
