Introduction

Exhaust gas cleaning onboard vessels

Since 2006 research has been undertaken with the objective of cleaning up diesel engines in ships.

Gases produced by burning fossil fuels contain harmful gases. Research has been conducted since 2006 on the treatment of flares from diesel engines in ships in order to reduce hazardous substances in emissions.
