Land and Forest Iceland

Do you use land or provide land-use advice but are not a farmer?

20th April 2026

You are invited to participate in a survey exploring how rangeland grazing and other land uses can better coexist, and what role digital technologies and data can play in that context.

Take part in a survey on rangeland grazing and digital solutions

The survey is part of the European collaboration network DIGI-Rangeland, where 11 countries are working together to examine how digital solutions can support sustainable rangeland use and improve coordination between different types of land use.

We are seeking input from individuals and stakeholders who use or have interests in land but are not engaged in livestock grazing. This includes those working in nature conservation, tourism, outdoor recreation, and resource management, as well as those involved in land-use planning and advisory services.

The aim of the survey is to:

  • Improve understanding of the interaction between rangeland grazing and other land uses.

  • Identify key challenges and conflicts.

  • Explore how data and digital tools can support better collaboration and consensus in land-use management.

It is important to gather diverse perspectives to strengthen knowledge of how different land uses interact. Your input matters and will help shape practical solutions for the future.
