Various social organisations

There are numerous social organisations at work in Iceland, providing assistance and advice. One of the goals of most of these organisations is to draw attention to the rights of minority groups and various related issues.

Open Monday-Thursday, 13-16:00. A social worker is available for consultation and phone counselling every Wednesday. In addition to Icelandic, staff members speak other Nordic languages and English. Efforts are made to respond to any and all situations.

Social workers are available for consultation, whether in Icelandic or English. An attempt is made to deal with any situation that arises. Various groups work within the Association, for instance, there are AA meetings in English as well as a youth group.
